Before files can be added to a vault, they are checked for compatibility. Several factors can prevent documents from uploading to a vault. Documents that are not a supported format, are too large, or fail a virus-scan will all fail to upload.

To protect the security of a vault, we scan all documents for viruses before they are added.

What happens to documents that fail to upload?

When a document fails to upload, an error message will display indicating the cause of the failure. These documents will not be available within the vault. There is a chance for a false-positive virus-scan result and attempting to upload the document again may be successful.
